I have not provided directions or pictures on how to get the sills to adhear properly to the OEM sills. My best advice is to just use them as provided and instlal more double sided tape before installing. Use enough to cover the gap from the bends being different on the back. I personally think closepins will not apply enough pressure, so I used clamps.
These directions are provided free, as a guide only. I will not be held responsible for for any damage you incur or warrantee issues you create with your vehicle. The install on a 2004 should be similar, but the wires you tap into might be different.
Tools / Parts Used:
- 3M T-Taps (18-22 gauge) (red in color)
- Male 18-22 gauge insulated disconnects (has a flat piece of metal inside)
- 3M electrical tape
- Utility knief
- Needlenose pliers (good for finding wires in loom, reaching...etc)
- Normal pliers (good for crimping 3m T-Taps)
- Cutting pliers
- wire crimper (to crimp wire disconnects to bare wire)
- #2 Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver (good for prying)
